Hello, EpicNPC. I'm a new user and I've been playing Genshin since September 28th of 2020. As you've probably guessed, I'm on the verge of saying goodbye to this game... though, I'm absolutely terrified of scammers.
But there's also another thing that scares me even more than scammers. See, the in-game UID is one of the selling points of a Day-1 account. Quite a few people will love to get their hands on one of the oldest accounts, especially when it's well-maintained and packed with characters/constellations/weapons. The problem is that even if I mask my UID (70000xxxx, for example), it will be like a sitting duck for any potential threat.
Example A: buyer puts the 5-star characters on display immediately after purchasing my account, then some random person inspects the playerbase up to UID number 700009999 and finds out that a certain account is indeed the one that has been recently on sale. Why would they do this? Out of spite for "whales", I guess.
Example B: someone writes a report to the customer support - blindly, just to give them a link to EpicNPC thread - and if CS has a special department to deal with account trading, they find and investigate a Day-1 account with the characters/items/achievements listed here on EpicNPC.
So my questions is, just how often does any of this actually happen? Example A should be pretty rare, but what about case B? Have you ever experienced something like that? Is there a real risk or am I fretting over nothing?
