A 3 month ban for not knowing rules?!?!

My account, traderjoe82 just received a 3 month ban for posting a service in the Archeage forums offering to help people secure their accounts.

This seems a little excessive since i searched the forums prior to posting that thread and the only thing i could find was a rule about offering credit card services..

Wouldn't a simple this is not allowed be more appropriate then a 3 month ban?

I did my part by searching the forums and reading the rules prior to posting, How am i to blame when your rules don't cover what i posted?

IF this is the type of service i can expect from this site then please ban my account for good.

What he's saying is your Account Security thread is highly suspicious because it involves securing an account with an ID you don't have. Offering any service where a fake ID is used is a 60 day temp ban. That is posted in our forum rules.

That is why you receive the temp ban.

If he's wrong, PM me step-by-step instructions on how your service works and I'll reconsider your thread.

There is no other way, and has been no other way, to change the name on a Trion Worlds account.

If you have a trion account with Archeage on it that you don't care about please give me the info and i can get it done.

If you have such an account, PM the information you would get when buying it, IE:
Login Name/Password
Secret Questions / Answers
Name on account (you don't even have to give the real name since i will get it changed anyway)
Birthdate ( again can be something that is wrong as it doesn't matter)
NO ID is required, Real, Fake, or otherwise, nor did my post say you need to provide an ID or that i would. as i said i don't even need the real name on the account to get it changed.

My method assumes you have purchased an account legit and have the above information which is needed to secure the account for you.
