Along with the collector's edition box you will receive the Battle Chest which includes game DVDs for the original game and the BC expansion. Inside the box is also strategy guides for both of those games.
The main character that accompanies the boxes is a level 80 Warlock that is without a doubt one of the best characters in existence. It is, at present, the best geared Warlock on the Silvermoon server with 4 valorous T7 pieces and almost all best in slot items (only missing wrist, and chest, but the ones it has are still amazing). It has 2413 spell power before raid buffs and can easily sustain 5,000dps in current end game raids. If you would like to view the toons armory, please send me an email. In addition to the gear you see on the armory there are several pieces in the bank that can be switched out if more or less hit rating is needed.
In addition to the raiding gear, it has a full set of hateful gladiator gear, with 2 deadly pieces for a total of about 800 resilience. It also has 83 mounts (to include the Black War Bear, red Qiraji Battle Tank, Big Blizzard Bear from Blizzcon 2008, and the Amani War Bear), 58 small pets (several that are now unobtainable), 18 titles ranging from Loremaster to Bloodsail Admiral and Champion of the Frozen Wastes, and the legendary Sulfuras Hand of Ragnaros mace from Molten Core (I know he can't equip it, but it was fun to get anyways). The character also has about 15,000g with another 5,000g or so in various items in the bank.
