You can smash DPS as a monk, OR go tanking as there are some tanking off pieces including DOUBLE heroic FIST weapon from BRF in bags which are BIS for tanking, as well as a MYTHIC tanking cloak.

The monk has around 40k gold as well as mats worth 20k~ in bags (80 Temporal Crystals etc). Garrison is leveled up as well with tons of epic followers (INCLUDING THE RARE BRF FOLLOWER AKNOR STEELBREAKER) and around 1k+ Garrison resources.
