I bought an Fortnite account from Matthew Renshy containing a renegade raider for 600 back in 3/22/2019. The original owner had taken the account back. At first I thought it was hacked but I discovered that the account was on the original email which they have changed today to something else which I no longer know. I opened a ticket with epic and they would not return the account with out the original purchase reciept. I had reciepts from back in 2018 which has worked in the past when I have contacted them. After they denied I went on the epic games website and sent a password reset to the original email for the account. I said sent. Which means an account was on that email. I have located the account on line and and has a new Xbox account connected with the original gamer tag name. I tried to send a password reset to the original email today so I could take a screen shot but is now says there is no account associated with this email. So the account email has been changed today.
