Selling a top end account, pretty much the only thing lacking on this is Achievement points which only has 12.3k AP but farming AP isn't too bad. I just never enjoyed doing it.

Has EOD Pre-ordered so it's ready to go for expansion

Sounds good, but I will not go below $1,100 on this account. If the event arises where I can't sell it, I'll just keep it as I don't need the money and in no rush.

Tbh you won't find an account under $1k with these specs, and most top end accounts I'd compete with have higher AP and skins than me so it'd prob be even more money, especially with Legendary Armory which, with full legendary jewelry alone, changes the entire game in character customization across multiple game modes now.

True but no one will pay that much though. Its a win and lose situation. As a seller, you lose on the time with effort you give and do on the account while the buyer gain all of it for buying all your play time and effort on it with their real money ^^.

Depends on who is rushing. There is recent post that went for less if you look around here. Just following the market value as third-party does sell these services. Have to compare them in general.

Yes, you will always find stupid sellers, but dumb sellers != market value.

Market value for an account with these specs is a minimum of $1k+... But yea, a person who is rushing will sell cheaper because they need the money and are desperate - that is something no market has control over because it's no longer valued upon the account's actual worth, it's valued upon the desperation of the seller in a sea of buyers who will gladly take advantage of it but this isn't indicative of how market value actually works, but I'm sure you understand this or hopefully do, at least.

If it was that easy, there would be tons of accounts being sold with these specs at half the price, and there's a reason it isn't common. Also, the Legendary armory exists now which bumps up each legendary's value ten-fold on an account due to the QoL it brings across the board.

People coming onto epicnpc trying to low-ball != market value and stupid sellers who are desperate and don't have time to sell != market value.

If you sit on here for 20 years, you'll find a deal, but again, it's a matter of who wants to wait - clearly, you can, but you're 1 person trying to buy an account massively cheaper than it's actually worth in a massive population of people who have no problem buying an account for much higher, which is basically your argument flip-sided toward's the seller's end.

Most set of legendary armor value is less while people expect too much. It's reasonable offer for us buyers (me alone as an individual gave a reasonable offer and purchase over $100++++ on here) to buy the sellers time. Some understand their value of not getting their time/money back BUT its only a few. At the end of the day, it all falls under legendary set category even if you have raid/wvw/pvp. Doesn't matter as the market doesn't value the hard work. It's like going into the dealership for a new car but came out with a used one as it was a better deal since it's used with extra goodies that comes with it. Losing value on used is how every market is setup. Can't get it as new again once you start already. That's the main reason you don't want to put too much time or effort/money into the game as a try hard in general and expect to get it all back once you're burnt out of the game by feeling like its not worth the time/effort/money you pour into it so you want a refund. It's a big tradeoff as a seller unless you're in it only just to flip *all third-party does*. That's why I don't sell or plan to flip when the GW2 market value for accounts are not that great on holding value. Have to take a big lost and hit if selling accounts so MOST tend to sell their infusions/items. Best to buy at a reasonable price by not over paying and enjoy by playing it afterwards IF the seller actually quitting the game for good by taking what they can for their account rather than leaving it empty and forgotten. It's easy as there is recent post as proof if you actually stay active on here to shop around and study the market of GW2 while playing the game. Third-party services charge more or nearly the same/possible less and if a seller who isn't third-party expects a third-party services price, its best to buy the third-party services as a buyer since it's more reasonable *as it will be brand new*. As a seller know they're up against third-party services *most seller don't care as you and yourself knows*. Us buyer's have more leverage either way and taking the higher risk than sellers do when we cannot obtain the money back in a few months/years like the seller can *by taking their account back anytime they want*
Well of course, but your comparison wasn't used vs new, you specifically mentioned the rush of the seller or the desperation of the seller selling it and using that as a market value for all accounts that fit this genre of account tier. I was simply saying it doesn't work like that. That would be, in your case, me selling a brand new BMW i8 on the forums for $50k because I'm desperate to sell and it gets sold. You then come along and go to another thread that is selling one for $140k and offer $80k because you based the market valuation of the BMW i8 on that sale because it simply happened in a specific scenario because the seller wanted to get rid of it quickly but the reality is market valuation doesn't work like. Desperation on the seller or buyer end is not a reflection of the value of the account, so I was only responding to you based on the comment you made prior regarding this.

Also, the reason cars depreciate so fast is because newer cars are safer and have a warranty, this doesn't really apply to buying an older account vs a newer one because you can get the account taken back with both scenarios. There are really so many factors in how cars depreciate ranging from upkeep, repair bills for older cars, the car is out of warranty, etc that simply don't apply to the valuation of a game account because none of those factors exist when you're illegally buying a game account and going against the TOS of the game provider.

Yes, I agree, of course, time factors heavily into the degradation of an account's value, this is obvious, otherwise, the listing price for this account would be well over the current asking price, probably by x3/x4 the price maybe more.

There's an important distinction in the valuation of time between this and WoW, for example, this game doesn't release expansions every year so content is roughly the same, the only difference is the metas that form within the game modes that surround it. The last expansion was in 2017, content is mostly stagnant, so the time is pretty much constant. The only thing that decays this game is the age of it specifically, but that's largely irrelevant due to the game attracting new players.

If this game had expansions every year with treadmill content like WoW, the items on the account would be largely irrelevant by now and the account would probably only be worth $50, not even - but in this game, the gear has been the same since ascended stats came out in 2013 (8 years), so decay in terms of the value of the items themselves will never drop, only time, which is a very small factor when discussing legendary armor and jewelry. With weapons, it's a lot easier due to you just being able to flat buy generation 1's with no time investment, but that's not the case with legendary armor and jewelry (technically, yes I know you can, but it's an inflated price than doing it yourself).

3rd party services, if you were to go by their valuation would put this account at $4k+ because that's how much it would cost to pay for all of the high valued items on this account and I know because I manage one myself on the side, not to mention the time of them doing it for you which is also inflated and can take 30 days just to get a legendary backpiece finished with them when doing it by yourself can take roughly a week whilst buying the materials needed to make it. So if I were to value this strictly on the notion that I could just pump the account up with 3rd party services, I would, but I can't, or I'd be rich from all of the accounts I've sold between here and PAuctions.

At the end of the day, the value is in the eye of the beholder, on both ends, buyer, and seller. Yes, time valuation takes a hit, but as I mentioned with GW2, there is no treadmill where gear becomes irrelevant, and with the recent launch of the Legendary Armory, it literally pushes the value of every legendary up due to it's QoL it brings to the game at the top-end so that valuation isn't as heavy as other games where gear becomes irrelevant in months and you have to re-farm it to stay consistent, with legendary armor, you're done - that's what you're paying for, and for the market of a top-end account, they want to buy it and be done with that grind and focus on the content itself. That's what you pay for.

On taking the account back whenever they want, well, that's going to be an issue whether you get the account overpriced or underpriced. This is just the nature of illegally buying an account without any safety in place and price takes a hit because of that too, of course.

Staying trolling as there's proof of recent transaction and not low balling or anything ;). Let me know if you can find a recent transaction that is 1K++ for this kind of spec (y).
