It also depends on who is selling, people will pay more for something to a named person, who they know they are going to get the order from, where as an unknown, you may saved 50-100$ up front, but when they scam you, you lose it all. It is in my eyes a gamble when going with cheaper unknown accounts, and the sellers know this. That's why they can charge 450$ for an simple ebisu mule. Also an ebisu mule gives the user the ability to worry less. Why spend 500$ on an good account with ebisu, if only going to use it for fishing, it's just more to lose if it get's banned.

Not to say your wrong about your thoughts, just giving you some food for thought.

 

Just because you got something for well below what it was worth, doesn't mean that is the price. The account in question is still on the front page. Ebisu mule with cooking 30, got an offer for $300. As it is, Ebisu's basically print out gil like it is nothing. Even $200 for just a fishing mule is low, since you could easily make that in gil in a single month. For relics and well geared jobs, it should be more. If someone is just looking for a fishing mule, yeah my account is out of their scope, and that is fine. If you actually want to play the game and have a steady income of gil available, this is the kind of account you would want.

Not a big deal really; if it doesn't sell, I can keep fishing and selling gil for a consistent amount.

 

just because 1 ebisu mule sells for $350 everybody and their mom is going to start at $350. Nobody wants to spend a lot of money for these accts period. I just bought an account for $280. Emps/relics, etc...all I was looking for was an ebisu mule. I'm not going to pay $350 for a mule that just fish... Just because it sold once maybe another time like 50 years ago, it doesn't mean that its the price that people are looking to buy them for. Supply and demand. maybe that was the only ebisu acct being sold at the time. There are several ebisu accts in the market right now, i'm not going to pay for one at $350 just because some idiot decides to buy one about a month ago. Get real man...

 

Seemingly no good offers out there for the account. Somehow Ebisu mules with nothing else going for them are getting offers above $300-$350 meanwhile I've gotten a handful of lowballs at $150-$200. Oh well. Few more days of this and I'll just delete the thread I guess.
