How to safely change Steam location:

Note: since last year, there has been increased control of Steam systems when changing regions and payment methods. For your safety and to avoid checks from Steam after purchasing accounts, I recommend the following actions:
- enable full Steam Guard protection by adding control via email, mobile phone, and the authorization application (2FA authorization).
- to change the location, make a small purchase of $1-2 from your card (or top up your wallet with $1), and do not perform other actions for 2-3 days.
- then, if everything is ok, make an inexpensive purchase of what you need (for example, "silver") amount of $20-30. Also wait a few days and if everything is ok, then buy everything you need. Don't buy expensive products on Steam in the first week after changing location!
Another option: don't change the location/region of the account, but simply buy "gift cards" on various sites to receive add-ons or top up your account balance.
