If you have already transferred a character from the PS3/Xbox 360 to PS4 or Xbox One, then you will need to create a new PSN or Xbox account to use.
This is because you can only transfer a character one time. Once you have transferred you can't do it again.
If you haven't transferred a character previously from a PS3 or Xbox 360 then skip this step.
If you have already transferred your character then create a new PSN or Xbox account to use for GTA, keep your original PSN account activated with your PS Plus as you will need that to be able to go online on the new account (Unless you want to purchase PS Plus again)

Make sure your PSN that your going to use is linked with a Social Club account, this is needed to do a character transfer from PS3 > PS4/Xbox One
