Creating this thread for the sole purpose of informing all buyers/sellers that for transaction above $100 or even $50, do use a middleman, do not attempt to go ahead with any high transaction unless the seller have a high reputation, even if it does have high reputation, there's a risk as well, since money is the root of all evil. Use a middleman in any case, to secure yourself.
I have came across many kinds of scammers, i will list out some.
First Type (using other people's screenshot)
How these people get the screenshot?
They approached the seller first and get their latest screenshots by asking them on discord or somewhere and approach the BUYER that commented on any sellers thread to sell them. And to try their best to convince them to send the money as FRIENDS AND FAMILY so they can't DISPUTE it via paypal. as mentioned, good accounts won't go for low price, if you encounter such a gool deal, be smart and wise up. use a middleman for precaution. nobody gonna give your money back if you fall into a scam. Remember once you send the money and money is being withdraw to their bank account, you WILL NOT get your single cents back. Another way they get their screenshots is grabbing from another FORUM'S.

Second Type (Acting as EPICNPC middleman)
How these people scam successfully ?
The buyer will approach the seller first and ask for pricing and discuss the final outcome. And once decided, buyer says to use a middleman, and he will say he added the middleman from EPICNPC, and give you his forum profile link to see. But some naive sellers believe that middleman is from EPICNPC without doing any research. Some of the middleman over here indicated their discord numbers, so you can see clearly if the discord numbers matches the middleman discord, if it doesn't, you are talking to a scammer.. These are the steps
1) Buyer approach seller
2) Seller discuss with buyer
3) Buyer confirmed a price and seller agrees
4) Buyer created a fake middleman that looks like from epicnpc with the exact same name on discord
5) Using the fake discord account to add you and impersonate as middleman to make you give your account over or adding into a group chat and says we agree to use a middleman and gives middleman fees and more fake stories
6) you got scammed.
The above two are the most commonly used scams i have came across in my selling. Other simple scams are asking you to go ahead and trust him otherwise deal is off.
To save you from being scammed, always check the background of the seller/buyer before attemping any purchases. Especially for middleman.

someone from fb told me he get scammed by marianas too but he is not selling via epic npc, so there is no way for him to dispute. he losses a $300 account. sigh. feeling bad for them who incurred big losses. but more ppl reporting may at least make some 'public aware' to the admins and mods. so i am suggesting to open a dispute if can.
