There is no way to confirm if a seller botted or hand-farmed their currency. Either way, the risk to being banned for participating in the currency market appears to be about the same.

I am creating a linkshell on XXXXXX. I am here to encourage all epicnpc members to join.
Why, you ask?
Well first off lets just talk about the game itself. We will be raiding and doing all the ingame content. We will be a close community, that assists our weaker links to obtain the best gear possible.
I am 39, and have various experience running 300+ member guilds from vanilla wow with 2 40 man raids each week, and one progression raid. I was the raid leader as well as the Main tank for my guild.
I feel we can make "Guild name hidden for protection of members" one of the best guilds on (server hidden, all info given over vent), and fast.
We will be using a paid for Ventrilo server that is already up. One of my customers who is 53 will be co-GM and is retired.
I am looking for quality officers, knowledgeable raiders, and people who have the general desire to be the best of the best.
IF this is you then simply post here with some introductory details about yourself. There is no app process.
What do you get for being in EpicNpc you ask?
First off, you get DISCOUNTS from any services I offer here at EpicNpc. Be it reduced consignment sales, gil sales, gear, etc.
Once we are top notch geared, and every member in the best gear possible, we will pool our resources to be prepared for future patches to obtain new gear right off the bat.
Once we have excess, we will sell excess gil, mats, and services to non members of our guilds.
EX. Non progression raids, where all our members have all items, we will tow 2-3 people to gear them for a gil cost of each item paid prior to entry into the raid.
ALL GIL sales will be split with the guild.
So in essence, not only will you be the best....you will make money as well.
Your wife or husband are less apt to argue that your "wasting" time if you making money having fun as well.
If interested, or you have some "ideas" to improve upon mine I am all ears.
Nothing better imo then playing a game you love, and getting paid to do so.
Finally, this is the first game that I have played in over 6 years that has literally sucked me in again. Its a love hate relationship, and a vortex that I welcome.
I will be on at launch this coming morning. Just PM me your ingame name for invite.
I hope to get some quality officers as well.

1. Recruitment Officer
(Class officers that know all the min/max for their main)
2. BLM
3. DRG
4. WHM
5. ARN
6. PLD
7. WAR
8. MAR
9. MNK
10. Advertising Officer (in charge of drawing in customers for gil payments in raids, or sales of items)
11. Retention Officer (in charge of new ideas to maintain a happy home for all our members, fun time director)
12. Forum Officer (someone capable of FFXIV forum guild relations, professional attitude a must for this position as you are the voice of the guild on FFXIV forums!)
13. Raid Officer 1 (must be well versed in ingame content raids, and display a manor of understanding, and provide a fun yet respectable raid environment.)
14. Raid Officer 2 (same as above)
15. Progression Raid Officer (has the ability to come up with tatics to improve our progession above and beyond other guilds)
