This site is terrible. The seller said he was impatient, didn't want to wait for payment so he took back the account. I told PA to hold the payment, they promised me it would be, it wasn't. The seller got paid, and got his account back. PA tells me to fill this ridiculous question form so I did. Weeks go by nothing. Don't use this site.
 
I feel happy EU people can't even place anything on it.
 
I agree. I have used playerauctions, customer service was terrible, and then they tell me ive offsite traded and require to pay a $200 fee to use there website? stuff that. crap website, crap staff, wouldnt use them again.
 
I used the site and still use, imo is great site.Support isn't the best but good site overall.Safer than 1 to 1 transaction.
 
I've used PA recently and it seems like an improvement from the last time I visited it, when they didn't even allow sellers from specific countries. The support is indeed terrible, but the fact that they require a lot of details from both the buyer and the seller, makes the transactions much more secure than 1 to 1 trades, which deffinitely compensate for the lack of professionalism when it comes to support.

I will deffinitely keep using them since the positive aspects clearly overcome the few negative aspects of their website.
 
i would never associate myself with PA ever again. after i bought a good ol warhammer account for it to be recalled and then i recalled my money. did the scammer get banned no i did so for that i decided to stick with epicnpc as for me its alot safer due to being able to do IP background checks and all that :)
 
PlayerAuctions is a necessary evil in some situations, but the most we can hope for is that someone will actually pay some attention to the comments being posted and start working on improving it. I too agree that the customer support is beyond ridiculous, I too have had my run-ins and even have issues that still have not been solved 6 months later.

Perhaps we could get some comments from "Jake" on the subject.

I am at a couple years with out a response for my issue.
 
Their gold services are great, but I've heard horror stories about any sort of account sales.
 
You should have seen them when they first started out back in 2001 (When I joined).

I've been a very long time member and I've had my ups and downs. The worst is when you get scammers who purposely leave negative feedback to hurt you and Player Auctions will do nothing to change it. Even when you give them proof, they will do nothing and that really annoys me.

As for CS, my only suggestion is to make sure you have that transaction number handy when you talk to them (Chat/e-mail,etc...). It does help some, but I cannot make any promises.

I've done allot of sales with PA over the last 14+ years and I've only had a few issues in terms of feedback (Negative as explain above). I never once been screwed in terms of receiving payments. It's a "OK" MM site, but you will pay a large fee if your auctions are expensive.
 
Worst worst worst support ever. Suppor guy just copy pastes premade mesages and is never on point. I'm not the type of a guy to leave bad feedback but this was my first and worst experience ever. I would never never never ever recommend anyone using this poorly made site. With the worst possible support team ever.

Flabbergasted that everyone states PA has bad support but everything else is fine. The key to a successful site is their CS. Service after the sale is extremely important if a account issue arises. I stopped using them after they wanted your first born and then some from you even though you were grandfathered in prior to their upping their "so called" security measures.

Years in this business does not make you trustworthy. Experience and how you handle your business does. Epicnpc has done everything in Mike's power to make our community a safer and better place to do business. Most every Mod here is amazing at what they do and that stands out more than what PA does. If you choose to go elsewhere to buy/ sell/ trade your games, you take the risk of not getting proper handling of your accounts. Insurance of a successful deal is how you handle your due diligence.

I agree 50%. I've used PlayerAuctions sites for about 3-4 years as only a seller. I've never had one problem and a few hundred successful transactions. As a seller I think it's fabulous, and as a platform to put out your product without worrying about being ripped off or deciding "who goes first", it's really unbeatable. No finding a middleman, waiting hours to days for a reply to see if they'll even accept to do it for you. When there's hundreds to a few thousand dollars in a trade things still go fine on PA. The only problem is when someone get's scammed which is always the case with these kind of places.

That being said their customer service is atrocious. I've never once received a response to the few inquiries I've sent about bad feedback that I wanted to dispute since the person who left it had zero purchases and sales and left a strange message. I literally got no reply, so their customer service is dog ****. But I like to think of them as kind of like a storefront that nobody owns that I can put my stuff up in and sell it with little to no worry about people running off with my stuff.

Also the game that I sold on had their economy tore apart and it took playerauctions MONTHS to update the minimum/maximum you could sell on the game. I had to stop using them for a long time because I couldn't list TRILLIONS, only MILLIONS. So, as a seller PA is great. The real message is BUYER BEWARE.

Edit: And I know I said I never had one problem, but I meant financially I've never lost money on PA. Feedback is a different problem. I should have 100% feedback on there but I don't.

My experiences with gold and what not on player auctions have been pretty good. Never tried to sell an account through there though.
 
Decent site, i'm using it for almost 1.5 years, got nearly 1000 feedbacks with 100% (well 99.9% because one guy gave me neutral and it wasn't my issue). The only drawback is that they take huge cut, it's sometimes even 17%, but the higher the worth of ur product is the less fee they take. I just wish their support is better, i still have unresolved issue with PA's biggest trader Haidi, i know they are thousand people company but i didn't get what i wanted and i canceled the order and i'm still waiting for that specific order to be resolved, it cost me 120$. And it was back in decemeber 2014! If they just listen to the customers on various forums (including this one) PA would be probably the best site out there for virtual trading.

Their customer support is terrible. This morning I went to contact CS. I was doing something else while waiting for a CS to join the chat and greet me (The chat plays a sound when I get a message). After about 5 minutes I went back to check the chat to see if I missed anything. I found that a CS did joined the chat, did not do the intro. Then 4 minutes later, CS said something like "if you are having connection issue, please contact us again later" and left the chat. I was completely anguished by that. I've never met a CS that did not do the introduction and wait for the customer to say something first.

I also have terrible experience with their verification pin as well. I contacted CS 3 times and asked about how can I verify my account when their verification pin system don't work for phones. The first time, CS asked me to wait 15-20 minutes to receive a txt to get the pin. Waited for 30 mins, did not get any txt. The 2nd time CS asked me to wait for 15-20 minutes for a phone call. I waited again for 30 minutes, still didn't get any phone call. The third time, they finally gave me a call. PA's CS are freaking lazy. It's very obvious that their CS department don't want to do anything and try to drag as long as possible or until the same customer try to get through a couple of time. It is the worst CS I've ever had to dealt with.

Please explain, you can't just accuse certain site without a valid proof/explanation. Nor you can be scammed if you know to use site and follow their requirements if the other side is trying to scam you.

@Lust.Cena, IMHO you are 100% correct. It's impossible to be scammed for buying gold on PA. All the seller need is a recording instrument such as a screen recorder, to record the proof of the gold has already delivered to the buyer. Even if the buyer want to try to scam, the seller can provide video evidence. But the problem still reside on customer service... if customer service sucks... proving any scams can be very agonizing to the seller and/or buyer.


Overall, people should avoid buying accounts online. Buying account is never safe no matter what.

I'm still keeping over 1500 (proof) video clips on my HDD if anything goes wrong (u'll never know). So far i had like 4-5 disputes in 1.5 years and all went into my favor. I don't suggest buying accounts though, it's more complicated than trading gold/items.

I try to sell right? Seller's site doesn't work with any of the devices I used. They basically told me that I HAD to use Firefox, but even then it doesn't even work. I was told that I would be sent documentation on how to fix because they are either too lazy or incompetent or both. Also, still waiting on that email.

I try to buy right? Their stupid auto authenticator won't accept my phone number so I can't even do that.

I guess I wasted my time on a site that is piss poor and unacceptable for the advertisement that they do.

Look I think the word scam is said way too much these days. That said, this company has been around how long? If they were scamming, they'd be shut down by down. People should recognize the difference between a startup scamming website like this review:

The fee is $225 not to my but the association per their Terms of Service. But that is all you have to pay as a consumer.
