Because it's not something you can order off a website or just pick up and play right now. Anything that has limitations usually warrants a higher price with the masses. This is the only forum where the price has not dropped though, they are selling for around $50 each on similar rmt forums.

It's so expensive because you can't just buy it off some random website and start playing. You have to buy a code from a person who was invited and the is very few of them.
