Username Change question and Rank

The username change that can be purchased with credits, can that be for an in-active username that is taken on the forums? The name I want is taken by an in-active user.

Second question

If I purchase the $10/year rank that allows for unlimited edit time, would I be able to edit posts I've made in the past? Or only new posts made after receiving the rank.

First answer: Yes, Mike(the Admin) has done it multiple times and if the guy is really inactive, probably he will do the same for you as well. You can just purchase the "username change" item on Shop and then request it from @EpicNPC
Second answer: You can edit your all threads after having the upgrade, no matter if it's newly made or formerly made.
