Ok, so what are you going to start out as?
Current List of Professions
Star Wars Galaxies will include 25 unique professions.
Note that certain professions are considered “Elite”
and will not be available to starting characters.

Im saying if i CANT be a jedi, i will try for marksmen with other "blaster like" skills lol not i will be jedi AND hehe /u/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Basically after i investigate the game, im going to try and find out how one becomes a jedi, and if im not "Force Sensitive" or any of the other "Special Case" requirements you'll need to be one, then ill do another profession /u/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif, and i already have that profession in mind.

and to add to my previous statement, you all should understand we're given a set amount of skill points, consider it like diablo 2, you couldnt exactly make a sorc with fire 20, ice 20, lightning 20 w/o losing very important +'s or new attacks, so more or less if you can make a jedi with teras kasi abilities he'll be lacking, but still with how much devotion that will be needed for jedi (from what i see on the forums, etc) they probably wont even be able to start a tree very far into jedi after mastering teras.

Jedi, or trying my best, if not maybe a master with long ranged weps *shrugs* as for Teras Kasi, i honestly doubt due to the strict pre-determined skill's you'll need for being a jedi, i almost certainly am sure those who choose teras kasi will not even be able to do anything on a jedi line, ESPECIALLY beings from what i understand they're going to make you do jedi trails to progress from padawan to knight, so i dont for see an issue with this, i might be wrong, but im going off what they're saying. So for those of you worrying about unbalancing of the game, i doubt its much to get unsettled about.
Master of Teras Kasi.
Today me and my friend were talking about how there is such a discrepancy with what Teras Kasi is and what it isnt.... Lucas art is actually going against what the book series says the art of teras kasi is and what it isnt
Apparently rumors are going around that Darth Mual is a Master of Teras Kasi which is impossible because Teras Kasi is a pure art but meant for combat/evil purposes and for SWG purposes they are changing what teras kasi is to make the darth maul thing work cause a master of Teras Kasi would never get the oportunity to go through the trials to become a Jedi HENCE it would be impossible for them to become a DARK JEDI because you have to go through being a Jedi to become a dark Jedi in SWG.
This will cause insane balance issues and if sony doesnt address it, the game will be prematurely ruined.
If a character is a MAster of Teras Kasi and on top of that has the ability to manipulate the force they will be unstoppable. Seeing how mmost l33t peeps on SWG board will go Teras Kasi then Jedi route cause its obviously the most powerful combo possible.... to powerful if you ask me, this will cause such an imbalance in the game it wont be fair at all. A character using a light saber/ force and on top of that possess the most powerful unarmed fighting skill in the game.
I was going to Play Master of Teras Kasi cause I am very anti Jedi, I want to work for the Federation, on a bounty hunter type capacity... whose job is to kill Jedis.
But if they allow Jedi wanna bes to use Teras Kasi and be Force Adepts ill be pissed
