Trading a char to another account?

I got a char about 1year ago for only $30, i know the guys last name but dont know the secreat answer and email isnt in my mine...

if i got a new WOW account with this last name could i transfer him over?

YES, as long as the First and Last name are EXACTLY the same it will work. When it asks you to transfer it will ask for the sq/a for the DESTINATION account which would be your account.
