Today we're happy to announce a new wallet feature for Trade Guardian transactions. Currently the wallet is only used for the middleman transaction fee, but we have plans to expand this system in the future.
When a transaction is cancelled, instead of the fee being refunded, it will be credited to the member's TG Wallet.
--The user can then re-use those funds towards another transaction. This should significantly speed up the process and make it easier for the member to restart transactions if they need to.
The fee can still be refunded if requested within 30 days of the transaction being cancelled. If you click on the Trade Guardian > Wallet link in the top menu, it will take you to your wallet page which also shows a history of TG MM payments. At the top of the page you will see 2 items.
Wallet Balance - This shows the total amount in your wallet.
Refundable Balance - This shows what amount can be refunded.
After 30 days of cancellation, the funds will no longer be refundable, but can still be used for new TG transactions.
To request a refund, simply click the "Refund Request" button and a refund for the total "refundable balance" will be issued within 24 hrs. Depending on the payment method used, the refund could take up to 10 days to receive.
