A few weeks ago we added a requirement for the TradeGuardian badge, however it appears it had little to no affect to resolve the problem we were attempting to solve.
Today we made a change to remove the gold username color and user title "Trade Guardian Seller" in addition to the badge. All 3 now require 5 completed Trade Guardian escrow transactions.
5 Completed Trade Guardian Escrow transactions are required for these perks:
The reason for the change is due to the fact the majority for sellers (59%) who were approved to use the Trade Guardian escrow feature are not using it. They have 0 threads with this option enabled and it seems the only reason they applied was to obtain these free perks. Many being brand new accounts.
These perks remain free, but they must now be earned by completing 5 escrow transaction using Trade Guardian.
