"The Verification Check has Failed" for Twitter

Hi, I'm trying to sell a Twitter account, but when I'm entering the URL to claim ownership I get the following message:

"The Verification Check has Failed
Before you can post your Twitter account for sale you must verify ownership. This link will not be publicly visible, but members will be able to request to see the URL."
