Skype problems

Hey

So yesterday, I was on skype talking to someone from epicnpc, suddenly my skype closed by itself,
after trying to reconnect, it seems like password have changed or the account was closed.

I have over 3000 contacts just from epicnpc alone on that skype.

I tried resetting password using the email linked to my skype, but it did not let me even though it let me reset the password of other skype linked to the same email.

So i contacted skype live chat and they told me they my skype doesn't exist and i have to fill a form and send it to a higher department...

So I filled the form, sent it to them and I get a message saying some of the information is not correct. like DOB and so on,
which is probably right since I made it MANY years ago so I don't remember what I put.

So even though I have full access to the email that is linked to the skype account, they won't give the skype back, I have no idea if it is hacked or just somehow banned or deleted... I did message a friend though and he said the skype seem to be offline so I doubt it was hacked... "unless they message people in offline mode"

I have around total 3500-4000 contacts on that skype.

My question is: Did this problem happen to anyone before? Did you manage to fix it? and if not, is there any way to get all the contacts on a new skype? "I did not click save contacts in file before"


Any help would be appreciated.

Since that, I am just using new skype in the hope I can get my old skype back

I would ask Skype to lock the account if they won't let you recover it, although I'm not sure why they can't confirm you're the owner. Did you attach a phone number to your Skype account? They should be able to use that to confirm it's your account.

No ,I did not attach any phone to it, I will send them a message now to lock it if they won't give it back, but i suspect its already locked somehow.

There`s a way to retrieve all your contact, and also there is another way to retrive every piece of information(Creation date, registered last name, first name etc) you need to pass the skype account verification test.
I've gone through it at least 10+ emails with them. If you don't fill out the information they request, they wont check further for you.
