Site Suggestion: Require Prices on Sale Threads

There are so many accounts listed without prices where the seller says "make an offer" because it seems that prices are not mandatory. Most of the time the seller already has a price in mind, so if they receive an offer they simply say "no" or counter with whatever they had in mind to begin with.

It would be very helpful to buyers if all sale threads had a price. It's time consuming to get it out of some people.

Sellers could still say "$x or best offer" if they want, but at least buyers have some idea how much they want.

Just a suggestion, I think it would greatly improve buyer experience here.

We've been contemplating making price a requirement, but it's difficult because many members don't know that value of the item they're selling. However in the future, we do plan to implement something where buyers can easily view threads that do include prices.

We expect threads with prices to be viewed more often, so this should create an incentive for sellers to include prices in more of there threads.

This system is expected by late 2017 or early 2018 as we have a few other things in development at this time.
