Safest way to trade/sell gold?

Hello everyone,

As many know I am fairly new to the MD community. I have however become more active recently which has brought up a few questions. One of these questions is regarding safe methods (for me the seller) to trading and selling gold.

Now I understand and have sold accounts successfully and recently gold too. However I am not sure I have it 100%.

Currently my method of gold sales goes something like this:

Buyer contacts me on aim

We negotiate
We set a price and I clearly type out the terms of the sale

I have the buyer type out their full name, email, and phone
number for paypal invoicing purposes. I then state that I will phone verify the information and that they wish to purchase what we previously stated.

I call their number confirm the information and transaction.

I send them a paypal invoice with full descriptions of what they are getting and how much. the price, etc.

What should i label it as? goods?

I send the invoice, they pay.

I then trade and make them alt tab and confirm their character name my character name and how much gold they received. i hit trade, say good bye, and save my aim log along with a notepad of their contact information.

Is this how it should be done? is it overkill, or is it flawed?

Any info would be great.

afterwards be sure to send out a registered mail to their verified paypal address. Thats the only way paypal will secure the transaction.

Are you saying there is no way of tracking electronic goods such as gold unless you send a physical mail to the address on their paypal acount? How can so many goods such as ebooks, etc be sold when they are not shipped? How do they avoid chargebacks?

EDIT: Also it's not like you can really send anything the respresents the gold. Selling an account's information would be valid as your mail would contain relevant information, but gold? How would that be possible?

Sell to the verified company which buy gold, though the price may be low, but that's very safe.
What get my attention is that how can you sell the gold without getting known by the blizzard and banning your account

Yes I wanted to ask the same question. It seems you've covered most the stops to not get scammed which could be avoided by selling to the sites. Whats your master plan from not get notices by Blizzard and how larger are the amounts you're selling.

Can you give in-game transaction details? A pm would be ideal, never know who's watching.
