Retrieving original account

Okay, here's the story ...

I have recently traded my account, which I'm the original owner and hence I have all necessary information needed if I get screwed with the trade. I have trade my hunter for a priest. The hunter is my original account since the 1st day I played WoW. I traded it for a priest, who the owner of the priest wasn't the original owner but at least he had the answer to the secret question. We were on vent and exchanged info and seems like everything went smooth.

4 Weeks later, my priest was taken way from me by changing the password. I could not login. The person who got on my account was the original owner, who went on vacation and apparently gave the information to his friends and his friend traded it for my hunter. I talked to the original owner of the priest.

To summarize, my hunter that I traded is now on the hands or a scammer. I cannot get the priest back since it's back to the original owner.

My question is .... Since I'm the original owner of the hunter I traded to a scammer about a month ago, what is the ideal way to retrieve it back or in a way "steal" it back from a scammer?

Call blizzard (18005925499), tell them you need to change email/phoone number on account because you dont have access to that email anymore. Don't say you were scammed, just change your email/phone number and do a recall on it.
