Recalling an account after getting scammed?

If anyone could point me to some info on how to best recall my character after getting scammed I would appreciate it. I sold the account to a supposed trusted buyer but the payment has been reversed.

I was able to retrieve the account, but the character has already been transferred off the account. I already contacted blizzard that I did not authorize the transfer, but since the new account has the same account name they said they couldn't help.

I know the name of the new account due to the transfer page, would I be able to send my Driver's License to blizzard with that account name to retrieve the info for that account? I went over a ton of the blizzard support pages, but couldn't find anything specifically related.

Since I do not know the secret question/answer or have the CD keys for whatever account my toon was transferred to, will I be able to recover the account the character was transferred to since it has my name on it? I don't know if I'm totally boned here, but any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Under description explain that you logged into your account and found your character gone, and that you think you where hacked.

More than likely they will request a motorized copy of your Photo ID before they will reverse the paid character transfer, and it's not guaranteed that they will grant your request.

Also who was the buyer? And have you posted proof of the scam on the scammer forums so they don't rip others off as well?
