I am attempting to sell my WoW account, and have found a potential buyer. I have a couple of questions pertaining to selling the account safely, as I have just now recovered from a scammer.
1.) Since I finished speaking with GM's about five hours ago and have received my items, when would be a good time to sell the account? I would imagine that selling it right after restoring items and such would raise suspicion. So how long should I wait?
2.) I was scammed using paypal, and am looking at alternatives. The buyer wishes to send me a check in the mail. I've looked into Google Checkout and Western Union. What other options are there and in what order of safety would my options be?
3.) The buyer lives in the UK, and I in the US. In addition to just recovering my account, the account being logged on on an IP so far away, what is the chance of somebody noticing that? Additionally, is it ever a good idea, even when recent account issues aren't present?
4.) What exactly does the Middleman service entail? And when looking for a cheap service, what do I need to look out for in finding reputable MM's?
Those are all the questions I have at the moment, though I might think of more. If there's any additional advice you can offer outside of these questions please let me know.
