Question about buying an (GW2) account

I’m about to buy an GW2 account and the seller says you can’t use a middle man for buying gaming accounts. We’re talking about a big amount of money and I’ve never bought an account here before but if I do I would want to use a MM just to be sure. I said we can use the trading guardian transaction using a a mm but he keeps saying that that is not used for buying accounts.
Is this true? He has 3 feedback.
