Looking to unload some gold soon and this will be my first transaction. I guess for obvious reasons, it's pretty difficult to see what methods are being employed for buyers and sellers to exchange the gold in-game.
But, from the limited amount of things I was able to find and research, it seems that it's pretty difficult to sell sizable amounts of gold without getting flagged and banned. Is this the case?
If I sell a large amount, say 250k+, regardless of the method used, can I be fairly certain of receiving a permaban? Or, do the big, most reputable buyers, have accounts available on most servers that will allow me some amount of protection from getting banned for 1 transaction?
I'm looking to sell from my main account that has been owned/used only by me for many years. All gold was obtained legitimately. So the account has no prior flags for any suspicious activity. Are there any measures I can take to reduce my risk of losing my main account?

Forgot to mention, I'm referring to WoW Gold.
