Planning on buying a very geared character need some advice.

I m planning to buy a extremly well geared toon (Full season 3/ 3/5 T6) and I m looking to spend up to 900.
I have a few questions about account buying. Let's say I m going to buy an account from somehow who has no rep, what should I expect him to do and which payment method should I take? Is there anything I need to watch out for(EX: paying in full amount and getting username/pw untill a certain date later?)

On the other hand, if i were to be dealing with someone who has 1/2 reputation, should I trust him and pay with W.U?

Bascially, I m looking to buy a extremly geared character and planning to keep it as my main, but I want to be very careful since i don't want to lose up to $900...

This is my first time buying an account and from what I've been reading it looks like I have to pay through WU most of the time. I understand it would be the safest way for the dealer but isn't it too risky for me? He could easily recall it back if he is the orginal owner and file an unauthorized character transfer to get the character back.

I know it would be a great risky no matter what I m just trying to find the safest way possible.

Theres some other post in this area of the forums from BoneShaman(sorry if its not 100% correct on the name), but he basically answers all of your questions. You should check them out. He also has links to them in his sig.

Yes, WU is extremely risky for you. There is no way to protect yourself from a scammer using WU. But, like you said, your new to the forums, just like myself, and no one is going to use PayPal with you. They are going to ask for WU. The best thing you can do if you have no other choice but to use WU is to find a reputable seller, someone who is TWV or has lots of rep.
