But seriously the upping of the post count is getting annoying and WAY out of hand. There is a point where you are an active member who participates in threads...and then a point where it becomes ridiculous.

To stay on topic of the thread: This was not one of the funnier conversations with renters...but i think that just goes to show that you dont really need to mess with them 100% of the time. Whenever I'm contacted all I say is that I no longer have any account i could even rent, we say our goodbyes and they go on their way.

after two days i got kinda weary about it so i changed my account password.

When i logged on, the character had 1500 more gold; my rep was fully exalted with ****'ari skyguard and both of my professions were leveled to 375 (from the mid 100's). (That's 1500g, around 16000 rep and ALOT of time leveling professions in two days)

I don't think it's a scam, but I'd be very cautious. I think the people renting are from a foreign country; confilcting IP addresses could alert blizzard to what you're doing...thus getting the account banned.
