Multiple account safety / Account Transfer questions.

Hi,

I suspect most (cheap) powerlevellers use bots and I want to make sure that at least my main account is safe if they get caught.

So I have some questions, mostly about the account transfer and safety.

1. If I use Recruit-A-Friend and register it in a different name and this friend account gets banned for Botting (or whatever) could my main account get banned too?

2. If I use RAF and register it in the same name and the friend account gets banned, could my main account get banned too?

3. If I have two completely unrelated accounts, but connect from the same IP (or something) and one gets banned, could this affect the other one?

4. If I have two accounts in different names, is it ever possible or safe to transfer characters between them? (maybe by changing the registered name or something).

Could you expand a bit?

Particularly on 2, if I RAF in a different name and then I make sure to use that account only from separate IP addresses etc then surely my main account is safe even if my 2nd one isn't?

Also how do you transfer between two unrelated accounts?

they cannot be unrelated. they have to share the same last name.
e.g
jane doe
john doe

same last name then you can transfer

as far as i know, you can RAF on the same IP and there wont be a problem. as long as you are not botting or doing anything else against the EULA that my raise flags to those accounts and IP.

Right, I'm talking about this scenario:

1. I recruit myself as a friend.
2. I ask a wow powerleveler to power level on this new account.
3a. If the powerleveller gets caught botting or something, is my 1st account at risk?
3b. After the powerlevelling is done, can I safely transfer the character back?

if the powerleveler is caught botting, i do not think it will compromise your other account seeing you are not playing on the same IP at the same time.

and you can indeed safely transfer back once the PL is done, just give it 2-3 days to be safe.
