Mists of Pandaria's Account Wide Achievements/Mounts and its Impact on Trading

Hi everyone,

I was just speculating on the implications of account-wide mounts and achievements in the MoP expansion earlier today and realized the following:

If an individual had a (highly coveted/prized) mount such as the Scarab Lord mount on one of their characters (such characters sell for at least $2000 presently), they could potentially have the mount on every single one of their alts. What if said individual transferred each of these alts on to fresh accounts and then began selling these accounts? They would essentially make a killing very early in the expansion until everybody caught on to the idea, following which the entire resale market would collapse.

Thoughts and comments regarding the matter?

From what I am understanding, if you move the character(s) off onto a new account, then all of those achievements/mounts/etc. will be removed. They are only tied to your account for as long as the character that has the stuff that is being shared is attached to the account.
