Yeh, Scammers kill me with the every attempt lol.
But In the last year or so scams on markee went from 50% to 90 % /u/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
We must find a way to get rid of these chumps.

Although im debating on my Old site i use to run.

We have seen in influx of scammers over this summer. I assume that you know thats due to summer break and kids with nothing better to do.

You keep mentioning your "old site". Its easy to sit there and say I would do this that and the other.I can do better ..

I ask many of times over and over what can we do? I have yet to recieve an answer.

Do you have the time to sit there and sift through all the complaints one by one ?

All of us here have lifes outside this website none of us have the time.

We have trade "How tos" posted
We have warnings posted
We have TrustWho
We have TrustWho private forums
We have the rating system

Yet again you see people fall for scammers that are just truley bad. Where its obvious that they are fixing to scam.
Yet the trade/sale is made anyway and bam account is gone.

You can't safe people from stupidity.

Well,
One thing could be done but your register system is already in play. I would make those whom register on this site as traders, go for approval system with there Full Name Adress and Phone all to be confirmed.

Get together some scam busters to go thru the accused and investigate (so to speak) the accusations. Get a Retreaval team to help those whom have been scamed. Get a LIVE help desk if you really want your mods to help with MiddleManing.
There are several steps to take to add more saftey. and yes theifs always find a way. But What theif would like there real identiy to be used against them?

Just becuase i mention my old site you wanna throw some things out lol, not once have i mentioned i can do better bla bla. And look in the scam prevent sections to see added notes i place to help others.

So please dont try to throw your tone at me.

These are good ideas. But the biggest problem is that we (markeedragon.com) do not want to be legally liable if things go on. It also needs to be fairly cheap to implement.

Im not taking it personally, Those ideas came from long road, and work i once done. Liked to keep to myself incase i brought everything back to effect. Didnt really want to share just felt i had to with the way that post was applied.

And the money part is Real cheap, If you can gather those whom like to help others, and a real good repuational background etc. Just when i have shivcraft.com I had 5 people to help do everything was so understaffed being new n all i had to take it down.
But there are people out there that Love to take out scammers.
