League of Legends. Never Ending Game?

When do you think the current no1 game, League of Legends, is going to shut down? I say around 2020.

I mean this game will eventually run out of ideas for champions and skins.... I think

Every game is created to make profit they make it free to play but entice players to buy skins which is always tempting when you fall in love with a champion so unless the community dies or a new game offers something better and new then will probably continue for years to come like world of Warcraft

If they keep on rolling out new champions and keep the game play the same I doubt it will go anywhere soon. People only seem to lose interest in things when they start making mass changes.

It won't be long till it's dead. The community has become so garbage nowadays, most mature people of reasonable age who were playing since season 1 have quit already.

If you're pretty decent at LoL and getting bored of it, then I recommend you try Heroes of Newerth. It has that competitiveness that starcraft had which I never felt LoL had

Rito is slowly starting to die, I think around 2 years from now it will be halfway dead.

Surely I think it will end sometimes, but I don't think sometime soon. Neither do I think 2020. I see league as a game that will go really really far. As for the running out of champions. I think that won't be a problem given the fact that they can change the mechanic picks/bans work. So we'll see

Dota 2 is like a wave it went by once. And since then you never seen it. So please Dota2 has ideas but cant be compared to what LoL has done.

The game isn't getting old and boring. They still manage to do interesting things and try to update not only the game itself. But still nothing lives for ever. The only problem LoL faces is afk players, toxic community and some issues. Like divisions, sitting at plat someone would expect players that actually can play this game.

But except all that I would think it will stay until like 2020 unless some other game kills it. But if that dosent happen and developers will watch and fix the problems it will live for long time.

It will, most probably, be "neverending". Creating characters and skins is like creating movies: they do it for like 100 years and they haven't ran out of ideas yet, so it won't happen. The only danger would be not adapting to a new meta, like the Oculus Rift, thus becoming "outdated". Still, bitter veterans would still play it

When the current hype that is called MOBA is over the player base will drop a lot. Sadly I don't have anything with mobas its really populair. People around my play it I just don't like it. Tried all MOBA games. So the answer when does it close down? It will take more then 10 years for sure if they do it right. I am waiting for the next mmo thingy.
