correct i did imposter him but for only 1 day he asked me to stop and the impostering stopped that 1 day it dose not matter anyways this leads up to him being a scammer enough proof there to get a mod banned now if he dose not pay up or refund the hook id like him to get banned but if he dose pay / refund u guys can leave him i want a mod to look over this and yes i am ban evading but only to report the scammer then u can ban me again if you feel like it

You can clearly see how many well-known people this, if I can call him a human being, tried to impersonate in order to get this items, and we all know that there is no place for such people amongst us.

I welcome any moderator or admin Mike to my skype where I've got tonnes of chat logs I would like to show you and let you decide if I did right or wrong.

I have flawless reputation on sites like dota2traders, dotamarket, getdota2.ru and epicnpc.com. None of the people I dealt with will tell you that I scammed them even for a penny. I did this so this guy would probably think best and stop doing it.

I will stop here and repeat myself. Any epicnpc moder can feel free and add me to skype and get explanations.

Also one of his nicknames was Selling DC Hooks for 100$. WHO SELLS IMMORTAL RARITY ITEM THAT COSTS 200$ for 100$? You only do this when you want to get rid of the item. We're all grown-ups here, except for the topic starter, and we understand what kind of items you wanna get rid off and sell them cheap.

My suggestion is we break the item, so nobody gets scammed on the item again. There is a function in dota2 to break items i will do it and youtube a message to all scammers out there. This is what happens when i see scammers. I will not let him get this item again and scam innocent people, and I also don't understand how can a moder side up a ****ing scammer who has been banned on every single trading forum, and accusing me of stealing item. I didn't even resell it, none of the items i bought from this guy are still on my alt account. I suggest i make a video of me destroying them. Even tho I paid money for some of them. But if you're reasonable you cannot let him go again on the internet and scam people. No matter what he says, he is a scammmer. and always wil lbe a scammer.

Dear karl the dreamer, you can go f yourself with your brother or with your hands. Police, Lord Gaben or any other person in the world won't help you in this case. The only person who is trying to save you is doomed. Who doesn't understand that the original owner is long gone and agreed that he was robbed, since you've had these items for quite a while. We can clearly see that these items weren't aquired by sheer trading judging on the names you picked up on your steam profile. If doomed here doesn't know that steam won't return items to the original owner because it's in their policy, that is his fault. Therefore the items will never be returned to their owner, as you're not the type of a guy who does that.

Doomed sides with the scammer, totally ignored a huge message i sent him on skype with so much chat logs, and removes me after. Much competent moderator I gotta say, all he did is supporting scammers on this forum, and this is not the first time i hear something like that about him. i dont know if he has a personal issues or there is something we don't know about him. But usually you at least reply with more words other than repeatedly saying "You're a robber, and a scammer. And poor guy here who worked his *** off to get these items deserves to get them back. And it's totally fine that he scammed people over the past, impersonated and threatens now.

In future I would like to ask you doomed, if I ever have cases opened against me, but I'm sure it won't happen, plesae stay away from them if you can, and let Mike or any other moderator make decisions, as I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person that's unsatisfied with your decision making. I don't want a moderator who has been given proof to ignore me and remove me from skype without even responding.

i removed you on skype so there was no private conversations that would be used as further attacks against me, and to keep my patience in check.

My problem here is we should not allow members go around and rob people then make it into a **** show and a prize contest.

Never once did I advocate for return to scammer. I advocated that you had no right to do what you did and cannot be allowed to scam anyone.
In the US court of law stealing is wrong. So is robbing from a thief. If a man steals a car, then you steal that car, you still have committed a crime and still have stolen property.

I've been fighting this because you think its okay to rob people for personal gain. You did not take this item with intents of giving away on epic or intents of returning to any of those that were robbed by him. You took from a person that never scammed you for yourself. Mike just came up with a good idea and solution to the problem.

But it does not excuse the original theft or the behavior after wards.

everything we allow here with out consequence sends a message to all our members on what we allow to unfold on our site. Vigilante justice while it has been deserved in this case will lead others to believe its okay to rob people because they think they are a scammer.

And look back at what you did to teach him a lesson, look inside and can you honestly say you taught him anything at all? Now the guy is just going to spend more time impersonating you and scamming more. Want to teach him a lesson. Get his storage accounts banned on steam. They are all linked by hardware id's not by ip address. Then he has nothing to show for his thefts.

I do not believe his claims on amounts. But at the end of the day one 200 dollar item is a drop in a bucket of water for the items hes stolen.

Mike my only concern here is that every action we take or allow and you personally get involved in is a ripple effect on a lake, today its only a ripple but as everything builds up it becomes waves. As the site owner and an adult you need to set the bar on what is right and wrong, as it is mirrored by your members. whether it be theft, moderator abuse or involving the site in a circus that this one stupid little item has created.

I agree with both of you quite honestly. Til now, I've requested items returned back to the scammer in disputes like this because we don't want to send a message to the community that stealing from scammers is allowed.

In this case the item in question is most likely stolen and I did do a search yesterday for anyone posting about a scammed Dragonclaw in hopes of returning the item to the victim. Unfortunately I didn't find anything.

My reasoning to give the item away for free is similar to what happens when a criminal is arrested with stolen property.

The police will attempt to return the items to the victims, however in most cases they are impounded instead and either sold or donated. For example when a criminal is arrested with a large sum of money, stolen cars or other items. The money usually goes to some police fund and the cars or items sold at a police auction. The police doesn't return the stolen items once they get out of jail.

That's how I'm rationalizing this, but it is not to say that I'll make the same decision in future disputes. This one is an exception since I don't want the item returned to karl1874.

I've already received the item from @rmik and will setup the giveaway over the weekend. I'll make an announcement both on FB and in our News forum.
