So I have this guy who wants to buy my WoW account, who by all rights seems legit. He doesn't have broken grammar on AIM, he sent me a paypal payment that was completed and he is verified. I used his info and did a whitepages search and his residence and name are one in the same. It seems legit.
Of course paypal won't transfer the funds right away and I have a 2-3 day wait for the funds transfer to my bank account.
He wants the account username and password and to change the email with him right now so he can feel safe, once the funds complete then I give him the SQA.
Is this safe? If I change the email for him but keep the SQA can I still be scammed? The paypal transaction says complete so I really want to believe it but I'm unsure if I should do this.
I know no other way to protect myself or appease his interests at the same time without keeping the email unchanged until the funds clear.
