How long does getting a middleman take?

I've been waiting for a middleman to claim a transaction of mine for about 24 hours and it has yet to happen. Why does it take so long?

It was about 8 hours, not 24 hrs.

You also initially invited a MM that was not available, so no other MM was able to claim it during this time. Once that invite was canceled another MM was able to claim it.

8 hours is still long, however this is the weekend and also at 1:00 am. While we have MM from many different countries, during off-hours like this it can take longer.

I see one already claimed. Also it's best to pay the fee upfront. MM will claim transactions faster if they see the fee is already paid.
