Hi guys. today i got scammed out of £238 pounds I need your help.

I decided to start a movement, why should the little guy suffer, who gets scammed!

Please if you can post it on your facebook, blog or anything it would all help, some one has to stand up sellers who get scammed by evil people.

Paypal should be renamed to ScammersPal.

Today I checked my emails, and evil nasty dirty low down scum did a charge back of 238 pounds which I don’t have to pay back.

The scam is simply, order what you want, get the item, pay using Paypal and then a week later do payment charge back saying it was not authorized. Seller gets scammed out of the item, and then has to pay back the money to paypal and then paypal hand it back to scammer.

WHERE IS THE SELLER PROTECTION?

oh that is right, seller has none!

When the payment is disputed it 99.9% time the buyer who scammed you will get their money back, so much for a honest world!

This has not just happened to me this has happened to a lot of people, you can find them online by doing some simple research through Google. just type “I got scammed by paypal by buyer using charge back”

You as a seller have no defense in the matter.

The seller needs to be protected by these sorts of scams, If for example some one used a stolen card, it should not be your liability as you can not check the card is stolen or an unauthorized transaction as taken place, this is where Paypal should protect you.

Paypal supports scammers! so I tell you please be very careful hell even close your Paypal account.

Do not trade online.

That's not true. If you have proof of being scammed, the deal wasn't for virtual goods, and hold down a good case 9x/10 you will win. I've won a handful of case in my time.​

If you ask the buyer to confirm his PP and stuff, also put a specific note when sending money to you, you'll be safe.

I've normally tried getting an email from the email associated with the paypal + some private information which has helped me win a case in the past. Most of the time when you try to take precautions the scammers back out of the trade.

This is what paypal told me before selling my account. the thing is you shouldve done your research. ive sold many acc.. always have used western union because i have read, heared, and studied about this. but if you really have no choice and they want paypal ask if they are gonna use a credit card.. if they are and you dont feel you can trust them, dont deal. but if they are using their balance he/she wont be able to withdraw the money that fast and you will have won your case.. you shouldve recorded, print screened everything, took his real name, ask if his paypal is verified, ask if his skype is his real name, took his picture, do a face to face video chat.. ive done all of them..

but report it on paypal.. as stated on above quote, you should won 9/10 cases.. well thats what paypal told me on phone. they would fight the credit card bank for you. i did not get scammed so i dont know if paypal will be able to help you but thats what they told me. shame bro i wouldve wanted to buy that kinah.. but gl i wish you the best as a fellow seller..

Yeap. Getting scammed all the time.
Many people are staying away from paypal these days especially for virtual products.
Seller protection is virtually none.

I've been charge backed before all you need to do is take screenshots of your logs and you win most of the time.
