Help removing multiple account from profile

I registered this account on January but I barely used it, until yesterday. I forgot my account password, so I thought it would be much faster to just create a new account (rather than reset the password). However, my phone was already registered to this account, so that new account went unused. I didn't know about the multiple account rule, until I got the notification for having multiple accounts. I'm planning to get the verified membership, so I don't want this to affect my reputation.
