The forums have been upgraded to the latest version of VBulletin, however it seems it's broken our forum skin, especially the dark version, so I will be re-creating it tomorrow.
I also had to disable search since it was causing a 1000% width issue, so that won't be available until tomorrow either. Any bugs you see are most likely due to the forum skin and will hopefully all be fixed tomorrow as well.
The skin will be worked on while the forums are open, so there shouldn't be any downtime.
I am also moving the forums to a new domain name, you'll find out the name tomorrow. The reason for the move is two fold.
One I feel it would benefit the forums to have their own name, instead of being referred to as the MMObay forums. I think this will help with branding the forums as well as word of mouth if they actually have a unique name. Second, I want to separate the auction site and forums more. They are basically the same site that take different approaches to how people buy, sell and trade. I feel as though new members might get confused as where they should go and which one is better, so just separating them I think would help both sites.
The new skin will be going back to the dark style, which I know many veteran members liked. We'll be keeping only one skin at the new site, sorry no lite version, as it's a pain to keep two skins constantly updated with every forum upgrade. This is partially why the Dark skin here was never kept up-to-date.
The forums here will be permanently redirected to the new name, so no traffic will be lost . I'll also be removing the forum navigation link from the auction site on Monday that links to these forums, since I don't want any confusion. However I will be setting up other promotions to promote the forums on the auction site, so traffic shouldn't be affected.
