Edit Time decreased for Verified and Premium sellers

I've decrease the edit time from unlimited to 3 days in response to a member editing about half of his posts to try to delete them.

Update: Changed to 6 months

Can you please not do this or atleast limit it to the dispute subforum?
This is really bad for service threads that require updating frequently.

For example, I change my prices in my thread sometimes and edit to change details but now I am unable to do so

Being able to edit posts is a pretty powerful ability. While all edits are saved in a history, they are not visible to the public, so it can act as a "delete" if someone goes back to all their posts and edits them out.

It only takes one person to ruin in for everyone else and with a recent member doing just that, I had to severely lower the edit time. You'll need to contact a mod or myself if you want to edit a post after 3 days.

That is a killer. The ability to edit posts indefinitely and the decreased bump timer are the entire reason I purchased Premium Seller.

There is no way to make it forum specific so that we can still edit in WTS/WTT/WTB forums?

Agreed, Premium Sellers pay that extra bit, they are also viewed as more trusted so maybe they should be allowed the indefinite edit.

I can make it forum specific, however I don't want to allow members to edit out all their posts in the forums you mentioned. Changing it to 10 even 30 days really won't make a difference as I know you guys use the same threads for months at a time so that wouldn't solve the issue.

I can only set 2 edit times. Default for everyone and a second edit time which is for Verified and Pro Sellers. I can't split the Verified and Pro Sellers into 2 groups. It would be nice if I could, but the addon does not have this feature.

Im open to ideas and to work arounds for a longer edit time, but I think an unlimited edit time is done with.

My prices change sometimes day to day. The reason I donated here is to get the Unlimited Editing, So I'm quite disappointed at this point. I can't update my thread as it is, and It needs to be updated. Otherwise I'd be accused of false advertising prices.

I will agree in some of my threads my gold prices change every 6 to 12 hours.

I've updated the edit time from 3 days to 6 months so hopefully you guys are ok with that.

For those of you with threads more than 6 months old that are still active, you'll either have to contact a mod to edit it or create a new thread. 6 months is the longest I'm willing to do with edit time.

To speed things up, when you contact a Mod, specify what you would like edited exactly.
