Do you lose Rated Bg rating when transfering or faction changing?

No one ive talked to seems to know and I cant find anything on the wow forums about it so any help with my question would be appreciated. Im looking at transfering and faction changing but not sure if it rolls over I know arena does not but because rated bg rating isnt a team rating I want to be 100% Dont want to xfer before tuesday and miss out on t2 weps because of it lol. Answer here or hit me up on aim
