Discord Tokens are no longer allowed

We are banning the sale of Discord Tokens. It has recently come to our attention that they are mainly stolen from unsuspecting Discord members. Anyone selling Discord token after June 1st will be banned without warning.

We will be removing all Discord token threads starting today and will be issuing warnings until May 30th.

Hello, instead of banning the sale of discord tokens as a whole i recommend a new system where we differ the difference between “legit” and “*******” tokens.
Id like to specify that a big majority of discord tokens that we are selling is not *******. Instead they are generated using hotmailbox emails (Temporary mails) that are then sold/aged then sold at a higher price. We usually buy these tokens and verify them to sell at a higher rate.

These tokens i stated above are not *******.

To specifically point out the illegitimate sellers, they should go through a verification system. Before making a thread about selling their discord account (2015 or rare badge) WITH oge access, they should provide proof that they fully own the account, and use a trade guardian with the deal. Provide screenshots with dates etc, the Moderator ensuring he owns the account needs to save those proofs in when he does a future deal, These deals (the 2015 or rare badge acc seller) have to ALWAYS use a trade guardian to make sure the client will be safe, in order to make sure he is safe once the seller provides the client with the information he then can make sure its right by comparing it to the proof given to the Moderator.

In short, discord tokens should be allowed to be sold, since they are not ******* but instead generated. but discord accounts with higher values need to be verified whether the sellers own ownership or not. The decision as a whole to ban discord tokens to be sold is bad, because the market will be 80% dead and there will be alot of complaints.

Secondly any seller approved could then immediately start selling compromised tokens because they already passed a review. Mods will only assume the tokens are legit when they are not.

I don't see any real reason to allow this. The accounts themselves are only being used to abuse Discord servers anyway (spam and server raids), so there's no real reason to allow it.

You didn’t get my point, i said before they make a thread not when they wanna sell anytime. And the tokens are rarely used for spam/raids its mainly advertising. I also mentioned they use a trade guardian, this is for the thread to ensure the clients safe purchase and the product hes getting. Please reconsider this as the market will probably be dead and most people would move away.

Okay so before a thread is created, we check some tokens or their method and confirm they're legit. The seller then makes a thread and lists 100k tokens for sale. My point how do we know those are legit tokens? Maybe the seller did use a bot and created 1% of those accounts and that's what they showed us. But maybe the other 99% are stolen tokens from some leaked database. There is nothing a seller could do to show they created those accounts. We would have to check them all which is not logistically possible.

And the tokens are rarely used for spam/raids its mainly advertising.

Literally there is no way to completely prove its all legit. All is needed is for the seller to show proof of a generator or his market and see how hes doing selling stuff like fresh verified tokens etc.. and u guys should approve it, your logic is kinda stupid. According to your logic almost every market should shut down stuff if they sell bots etc. I am mainly pointing out to 2015 or rare accounts that should be verified and use trade guardian with as those can be pulled back.

Aside from that the big majority of these tokens are used for NFT/Crypto related servers. They can be used for literally anything, I saw a seller doing invite contests with these tokens and they won tons of stuff. The stuff u guys shouldn't allow to sell instead of discord tokens would be raiding/abuse tools if thats what you're afraid of.

DM service = spam.

Regardless, we allow DM services for many social media sites. Generally a bot makes a lot of accounts, performs some action (spam, follow, likes, views, etc), then eventually gets banned for abuse and it repeats.

If a Discord seller wants to do that, they can. They can use a Discord token generator to make all the accounts/tokens they want and provide a similar service.

But we're not taking about services, we're talking about the actual Discord accounts. Unlike other apps or websites, Discord has a token that allows anyone to steal an account regardless of what security features the account has enabled. I don't know why they would create a feature like that when their developers should know that every websites will eventually get hacked and those tokens will get leaked.

Cheating to win prices from legit Discord members. I don't know why you thought that was a positive point. Everything about tokens is directly linked to some abuse. It has no positive benefit and at its worse it's involved in account theft.
