Members no longer need to be upgraded to seller digital game codes. This does not include beta/alpha keys or accounts, the requirement for those remains.
Game codes for Steam, PSN, Xbox and other platforms and games can now be sold by all members.
The restriction was lifted due to the fact all members must verify a phone number before they can create a thread. This was not required when the rule was first added. We are also adding more local forum moderators over the next 2-3 months, so we'll be able to better monitor and more quickly catch possible scammers.
The reason we have not lifted it for beta/alpha accounts is because when a very popular game enters beta, we receive a flood of new threads. These keys also tend to be very expensive when the beta is limited. Due to the cost and eventual flood of keys, we feel requiring an upgrade is still the best way to safeguard the community.
