Difference between closed acc and banned

Hi, I am entertaining a trade with a user who i noticed had multiple accounts, 1 of which said the account was closed not necessarily banned, i simply want to know if there's a difference between the two. Thanks

Closed account : Pretty sure this means the user requested it to be closed or had more than 1 account so the admins closed it and asked him to use one particular account only.
Banned : Scammed/Breaking Rules etc.

Closed: happend when someone want to have his account closed, or closed due to multi-accounting.
Banned: usually for scamming. For sure, the user breaks one/more major rules :3
