Hi might do a deal but the seller's location is in the UK but he says he lives in the US and just has a UK ISP. Is it possible to have broadband from another country? Is he just using a UK proxy and trying to scam me? He said his provider was Virgin Media and wikipedia says they don't service the U.S.

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

It is possible, but you'd have to pay for it or use a proxy server. I'd steer well clear of this user and post them in the Scam Busters forum, along with chat logs.

As a customer of Virgin Media I can tell you now that they do NOT give their service of broadband to anyone living in the U.S, like Ace said, stay clear.
