CCP reworded their TOS to make their impersonating rules clearer and it seems there's a significant backlash to it from those that use the tactic to scam other in-game players. Scamming is still allowed, you just cant impersonate a NPC or another player to do it, even your own alt. CCP also stated the rules were always there, they just weren't very clear before.
Im mixed about this. For one Eve Online is the only game around that actually encourages players to steal from each other, but on the other hand I hate scammers, lol.
