Can anyone help me figure this out, might be talking to scammer

Hi guys, i bow to your ultimate wisdom when it comes to these things so here goes...


I have received an offer for my account from a person claiming to be a member of the website accountsbay.com

Thus far I'm pretty damn sure he is actually a member of the company and such, he has sent me an E-mail and acts professionally.

I have received an E-mail from [email protected] verifying that either he has the E-mail or he does work for the company, not sure which one!

His AIM is JTown7368

I'm assuming if hes doing massive amounts of buying and selling that he will be recognized by someone here.

He has no markeedragon account for me to look at which bothers me a little but I can understand. He's clearly at home and does not want to give out his own personal information because it's his home where he works.

My questions to all you wise ones out there is,

are there actually people out there working for companies to buy up accounts to sell later?

Does anyone recognize the AIM screen name? Can you confirm its legit?

I know nothing about accountsbay.com, but I personally NEVER do any transaction without personal info of the other party. No phone number / name / address = no transaction imo. Do what you'd like, but I highly advise you either get the correct personal info or don't do anything with him.

If the other party is worried about giving out info, thats a red flag for me. Tons of people on the Markee forums know my personal cell phone number, my first name is public, my state / country is public, etc. I do this because I've got nothing to hide since I don't scam people, and don't mind other people having my info.

Just a heads up. Also, his AIM seems to not be posted on any forum in a post, or accountsbay. Normally, if he was doing lots of buying and selling, he would post on threads on various sites saying "IM me at _____" or something like that. He clearly hasn't / doesn't do that with that AIM sn, because I looked for his AIM on google and got nothing.

Anyhow I did bust him, he's claiming to be from accountsbay.com but he E-mail is [email protected]!

Only one C, that had me fooled til just a minute ago when I decided to read over the E-mail again.

Just saw that, got him to click an IP sniffer. I'd like you to FWD the email to [email protected] when you have a minute. For proof.
