Buying Accounts that are Battlenet linked

Hey,

I was wondering what would be the best way to protect yourself as a buyer if you were to buy a WoW account that is already linked to a Battlenet account. The account would be bought from the OO with Id scan.

there is no way, they can recall whenever they want sinec they are OO

Yes there is a way. Make a brand new account classic to WOTLK, upgrade it to a B.net account (Both account and B.net have to match original registered name on the account) Transfer the characters to the new account. You will then be the "OO" because you have the CD-Keys and he doesn't. Having an ID scan is a plus too.

If the old account owner recalled the account, he could see the account name you transferred it to, and try to recall that if he was really greasy, so getting the old account banned after transferring would be ideal.

That right there is a 100% safe way, but difficult.

They ban all accounts linked by character migration now, so it's not really a good idea to get the old account closed =/
