Building a case for the so called mount exploit

So I've been looking around and doing a little research into this issue and whether its going away. I've been talking to a mod here (Ash) and he's been telling me stories about how blizzard is taking it away and how he's got it confirmed. Ash, I'm not calling you a liar bro... but you are a liar. Blizzard may decided to close the hole at some point in the future. The only issue they have right now is doing name changes on the accounts with all those mounts then adding them to your own. Transferring toons off your account to a new one and keeping all the mounts is INTENDED. All you have to do is take a look at the link below. The methods ARE in place, not coming in the future. Ash the reason I'm calling you out is because I believe you are trying to spread misinformation for your own personal gain. This is a big threat to some of the account sellers here. Calling this an exploit is laughable since epicnpc allows name changes, account selling, and gold selling; all of which are their own form of exploits that blizzard never intended. So please leave your "high" morals at the door. Ash has told me he plans to personally ruin this exploit, which goes to show that he has been spreading misinformation to me and god knows who else to try to stop this. I have good sense and I have decided to wait awhile before I go selling any accounts with mounts on it, as I dont wish to rip off any of my customers. I think its time to put up or shut up and you need to post proof Ash. You keep telling me these conversations you have with GM's (who are level 1 support and dont really know much of what is going on). Start offering them up so we can see them. I think you are making it up because of something you dont want to happen. I understand the sales for these are banned here, and thats fine.. its not my site. But I thought maybe a discussion on the matter should be had, and hopefully misinformation will be spread so we can all better protect the sellers AND buyers of these accounts.

Transferring a character to another account is legit. That account will be able to keep all the mounts and blizzard has determined it can rightfully carry over. In the future if blizzard ever went back and took the mounts away you'd have hordes of people pissed off. Now changing the name on said accounts is something blizzard will be on watch for, and thats not what this thread is about. I welcome anybody to come here and have a calm and intelligent conversation, thanks for reading.

Blizzard allowing players to transfer characters, with mounts was the intended purpose. What is happening is that people are doing it for the purpose of duping their mounts to sell them. Even that would be fine, but the issue I have is that 1 seller being caught could cause dozens of people to lose their accounts.

For instance, a seller makes 50 dup accounts off of one account that has a ton of mounts. Blizzard eventually catches on and all 50 accounts are banned. Now what happens? Do you really think that seller is going to issue 50 refunds? I don't and that's why it's not allowed here.

How Blizzard handles this issue has yet to be seen and until they decide, dup accounts are not allowed here.

I see your point. I think it's pretty crappy that ash is leading a crusade to get the mount transfers stopped. I just see it very hypocritical of him because of the type of business he's in. He keeps making up lies of events that aren't happening because he feels his market is being threatened. He's essentially trying to get a lot of people ripped off by getting it reversed. Not a good representive of this site in my opinion.

yeah, that's not me. I promise. I have never lied about the events, and I find it funny that you're crusading against something that people believe in, all for a couple hundred bucks. If you don't think I'm a good representation of the site, then message Mike with a legitimate concern, not this "issue" that you are campaigning for.

Also, there's no reason to continue this thread. Mike clearly has stated his stance towards this Mount Dupe, and if you are just leaving this up in order to slander me, then register a complaint or do it in some other way. I am doing what I think is right. I don't believe that cheap undercutters like you will do any good to this WoW economy, thus I am trying to stop this exploit so that the market will actually be a MARKET, not a bunch of cheap accounts.
