bought a used cd key tonight.

reminded me of how dangerous, no matter how 'verified' or whatever other bull**** someone is, it is to purchase these goods from second-hand sources.

we went through the motions, he verified me via email, we exchanged feedback, yadda yadda yadda.

upon entering the used cd key and getting the invalid message, it quickly dawned on me that any chance of turning back had already been blocked.

only $20 bucks i suppose, but quite frankly that's $20 too much when all i have to show for it is a picture with 20 useless letters on it.

I won't give used keys to my customers, all keys are 100% unused before i send them out, i know what i'm selling.

Do you think i'm going to scam $18 to ruin my rep? i sold many keys to MD & Mmobay members(too many to count),all went well & never had a problem like this deal.

this is a rant thread about me buying a used cd key and there not being anything i can do about it.

this is not a thread calling you a scammer. piss off, you got a fair solution, it was the $18 i payed you.

As someone who sells keys, Its hard to trust what the customer says. But telling him to Piss off when he talks about a "Fair Solution", thats just dumb. He seems willing to maybe work with you. Half off a key, half your money back, but no, you wanted to be a jerk. To him, he sold you a good key, to you, he sold a used key.

Easier way to settle this, he scammed you? make a post in the scammer thread with the correct template

If he did scam you we would need proof.
